The company is the pioneer in Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Lifecycle programs which enables corporation and government agencies to address cost, compliance and environmental issues associated with the recovery and disposition of retired IT assets. It involves the testing, refurbishing and remarketing of these assets to customers worldwide! The position is Manager of Wholesale Channel Sales. This is a terrific opportunity for the experienced sales channel manager with international and domestic contacts who can actively prospect, initiate, develop and grow our wholesale business.The position requires an experienced manager comfortable with day-day sales, business development, account development and management, channel development as well as ptospecting and growing wholesale distribution outlets. This is a fast paced position that requires both supervisory and hands-on involvement calling on domestic and international computer & electronics wholesalers, distributors, VARS and exporters. You will be responsible for moving thousands of used IT assets (laptops, systems, PDAs, etc. from our top corporate clients to helping us obtain the highest return-on-investment for our clients. This requires targeting markets both domestic & abroad for all types of IT assets. The company, a leader in its field offers an individual the opportunity to create and implement an effective process to build revenue with innovative sales programs!Compensation includes competitive base salary, bonuses and full benefit plan.Requirements:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing broad channels for distribution of our many products Analyzing market conditions and leveraging sales opportunities accordingly Assisting in pricing PlanITROI inventory directly with the buyers for key customers, on industry web sites, online stores, domestically and internationally.Ideal experience includes:Selling to buyers for Overstock.com, Buy.com, Ebay, Ubid, Newegg, Amazon and Liguidation.com, Heartland, Tiger Direct, CompUSA and others. Good skills in Microsoft; Word, Excel, Access Great presentation and communications skills Team building skills, particularly with wholesale channel specialists and online experts with EDI experience.Requirements:This is a new position and requires experience working in an entrepreneurial environment with highly focused, determined professionals. You should have experience in sales negotiation and managing customer relationships. You will own the outbound/channel sales process. Our ideal candidate will bring a high level of energy to this important position and recognize the vast potential our quality products represent in the marketplace. Your background will include strong cold calling skills, matchmaking, communications, organizational and multi-tasking skills. If you have led inside sales, sales support/administration or customer support and seek to be rewarded for your efforts, you are a candidate for this position, Minimum 5 years of experience managing channel sales to dealers, wholesalers, distributors, VARs, exporters and online merchantsFamiliar with computer hardware, particularly laptops and systems
